Barbara Sigler, Trombone
Barbara Sigler was born and raised in California. She earned her Bachelor's in Social
Work with a Minor in Music at Sacramento State, then completed her Masters
in Social Work at San José State. She recently retired from her position
as a Medical Social Worker with the California Children Services Program
in Santa Clara County.
Barb has performed with many theater groups, both in the pit
orchestra and as an onstage musician, including TheatreWorks, Foothill
Music Theatre, Palo Alto Players, and San José Civic Light Opera. She is
the bass trombonist with the Fremont Symphony, the Women's Philharmonic, and
the Adrian Davis Orchestra, and a member of the Bay Bones.
Barb joined the Menlo Brass Quintet in
1991.
